Tandem Garage Ideas
People are needing more room these days in their homes and they are turning to their basements and garages for that extra space. Lots of the new homes are built with what the builders call 3 car garages but they are really tandem garages with space for two cars side by side and one car in front of the other for the third spot. Tandem garages are big enough to technically park multiple cars but having one car in front of the other just doesn’t work well. This is because you have to keep moving the back car just to get the front car in and out and most homeowners end up just parking one car in the space. This leaves lots of extra room in your garage to use however you want!
The space created by a tandem garage can be quite big and is usually enough room to do a lot of things. Storage is the boring option and it seems such a waste to not use that extra area for something you can get real value from. Here are some of the better garage ideas you can decide from:
