Garage Lighting Ideas
Your garage can be used for many things but for all of them, you need proper lighting. Garages usually come with two or three 60 – 100 watt bulbs spaced throughout them which plenty of light for parking your cars, but if you want to use your garage for something more, you need to look into some garage lighting ideas.
Lets say you love tools, as many men do, and want to use a section of your garage for a workshop. Tandem garages are great for this as that extra space is hard to park a car in but you can fit a work bench or table in nicely. You now need better light than just that one 60 or 70 watt bulb above you.
Compact fluorescents can be bought for those outlets that will give you a much brighter light. You can buy this 40 watt bulb that will screw in to the ceiling and give you the equivalent of 150 watts of light! This works great for any area where you need more light for safety or just to see what you are doing. Give the video below a look for more garage lighting ideas.
